Warranty Terms

What does the KONVERTO Warranty cover?

The Konverto Warranty covers any physical damage, flaws, major blemishes, or manufacturing defects in both materials and workmanship when our product is used in the usual course and for its intended purpose. The Konverto warranty is personal to you, the purchaser, and cannot be transferred to anyone else and is only applicable while you are resident in Bengaluru . The Konverto warranty begins on the date that you receive your product and continues for:

Hidden Wall Bed

  • The above rates includes Installation, transportation and GST. The price is valid only for Bangalore location.
  • There will be a conveyance of charge of Rs. 750 for any warranty related site visit. The same should be paid by the customer/franchise/dealer.
  • The above rate is calculated on the basis of Single color for both door panel and Carcase. Multiple shade will cost Rs. 2000 at the factory.
  • The raw material considered is 25mm plywood for carcase with standard Matte laminates, the same with 18mm postlam for shutter.
  • There will be an additional charges for special laminates, High gloss, Acrylic etc.
  • There is no alteration possible once the work order is processed. There is no refund will be given. There is no onsite service given, if purchased only Hardware part and

The Item Booked Cannot be Cancelled.

  • We Should be informed about 48 Hours Prior for the Delivery Time.
  • Warranty is not Valid for Wear and Tear and accidental Damages.
  • Warranty Applies only for Mechanism of Tables and Beds. 
  • Wall Bed can be used Maximum 25 Kg Mattresses.

Sofa cum bed

  • The price given is including delivery in Bangalore, for sofa bed products.
  • 80% Payment to be done at the time of order placed, and balance before dispatch.
  • 10 Days production lead time from the date of order confirmation
  • Additional pillows will be charged extra. (Rs. 600 for small, and Rs. 1100 for Big pillow)
  • Customized sized will take min 15-20 days for production, and there will be additional non proportional charges.
  • There will be additional charges, of Rs. 1000 if the apartment is above 1st floor and there is no lift. And delivery considered up to 20 kms from Bommasandra.
  • All Sofa and Sofa-bed products have 3 years warranty, which is only applies for parts replacement.
  • The warranty doesn’t cover the conveyance and transportation costs.
  • Additional charge of Rs. 4500 should be paid by customer if the product has to be reworked from factory.
  • The warranty is only for Sofa mechanism failure.
  • Mechanism bend, or breakage due to un-appropriate usage is not covered under warranty.
  • Warranty covers only manufacturing defects.
  • A conveyance fee of Rs. 750 to be paid per visit even within the warranty period.

What isn't covered by the KONVERTO Warranty?

  • Normal wear and tear, including minor pilling, fading, stains and discolouration, and softening of the product that does not affect performance
  • Damage caused by improper use, cleaning, maintenance, treatment, storage or otherwise caused by your acts or omissions
  • Damage caused by alterations or modifications made to the product or where the product is used in an abnormal manner and/or not for its intended purpose
  • Any Defects in products which we brought to your attention when you purchased the product
  • Products used for commercial purposes

KONVERTO Interior

PRICE PROMISE: Konverto guarantees the prices in this proposal valid till one month from the date of issue of this estimate. Prices may vary when booked beyond this date. Quoted prices are applicable for this proposal only, any modifications may result in a change of prices. The above quoted rates are an estimate based on current design and sizes, they are liable to change till the sign off/production stage depending on the exact actual measurements on site or design changes made by you or as per your instructions. DELIVERY TIME: Your order will be delivered on or before the assured delivery date. Changing an order or unforeseen circumstances may delay delivery time. Konverto is not responsible for any delay in project implementation due to third party vendors or for reasons beyond its control. If there is any major civil work involved at the site(breaking wall, false ceiling,tile replacement, building a new wall etc) due to this installation gets delayed konverto is not responsible. CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER: Konverto is able to process your final order and start production only post a 90% payment. TAXES & DUTIES: All payments made via credit cards will be applicable for a 2% surcharge as charged by the banks towards the same. The same is to be borne by the customer. FINANCIAL SERVICES: Konverto only facilitates financial loans and services. Approvals, processing and terms are at the sole discretion of the financial entity.

CANCELLATION, RETURNS & DELAYS: Any non-manufacturing defects and damages post receiving delivery are not valid for returns or replacements. Customized and made-to-order furniture pieces, purchased from Konverto, cannot be returned or exchanged. All payments made at any stage are Non-refundable. PAYMENT STAGES: 10% to begin design (Non-Refundable) 40% before 3D after first presentation (Non-Refundable) 40% to move to production -(Non-Refundable) 10% before dispatch -(Non-Refundable) DESIGN SERVICES: Professional design services will be provided for a period of 30 to a maximum of 75 days (based on order value and the chart below) from the date of sign-up with Konverto with a free extension of 15 days in case of delays from our side. After the completion of the extension period, the designer will be available to help with selections, monitoring of the work at site as per Konverto standards and design advice at no extra cost for the duration of the project and as per the terms and conditions of selection visits based on order value. However, an additional extension of time for design services above and beyond this period, is available at Rs.18,000 for a period of 31 days (about 1 month).

Design services can be paused for a maximum of 90 days. Selection visits: each visit is for a period of 4 hours. Additional visits if required can be provided @Rs5000/- per visit+taxes. High quality 3D renders for only bedrooms, kitchen & Livingroom’s which are part of the order with konverto

DELAY IN COMPLETION:

If the completion of the project is delayed beyond the 90 days from design sign off we promise, Konverto will pay the client rent to the extent of Rs.20,000 per month on a pro rata basis for the delay up to a maximum of 10% of total project value. The payment will be subject to the following conditions. The delay is for the initial scope of work and item list and additional items or request for change will not be considered as delayed items. There are no external factors which have contributedto delay which are out of control of Konverto. The site is in a condition for installation and there is no delay or pending work from the builder or the client. Konverto promises to deliver the home in 30 working days, which start from the date of final sign off on all drawings and items and payment towards beginning of production. 1. Talked about the Price Escalation (This is to ensure lead costing per sq/ft as compared to final costing will remain the same, unless any additions/modifications are made). 2. Talked about Design Escalation (This is to ensure that the delivery timeline committed to client is strictly based on project value that they signed up (only 10% increment is allowed), any deviation from the lead value or significant changes in design which leads to increase in price, will result delivery timelines and it would be then changed to 60 days). Any project up to 5 lacs: 25-30 working days delivery after design sign off. (Only laminate & HGL) Any project upto 10-12 lacs: 40-45 working days delivery after design sign off. Any project above 12 lacs: 60 working days delivery after design sign off.

DISCOUNT VALIDITY & ADDITIONAL SERVICES:

The discount given at the time of sign up is only valid if the project cost is not lower than the lead costing given at the time. (For project cost higher than the lead cost, still the discount remains the same, but if the project cost is lower than the lead cost, then discount percentage would be proportionally reduced). Additional Charges: Deep cleaning for your home post-handover can be provided by Konverto at an extra cost as below: 2bhk Rs. 6500 + taxes. 3bhk = Rs. 8000+ taxes. 3bhk @ 6 Rs per sqft on SBA. Floor Covering of your existing flat will be charged extra at Rs.8 per sqft/ this will be done by default, by Konverto and added to your bill at the time of going to production as per actual site measurements.

SERVICE LIFT:

client has to provide service lift for the delivery of products to their flats, If service lift is not provided by the client then after 1st floor it would be charged Rs 2000/- per floor.(if the clients flat is on 7th floor and service lift is not provided then the client will pay 2000*6=12000 /- for delivery of products to the flat.)
